1-    what do you intend to photograph?
I intend to take photo of foods.
2-    why do you want to photograph the subject?
I want to photograph this subject because food is something that related to our life. In Chinese there is a sentence which means bread is the stall of life. Food is humans basic need, eat batter could help us live batter. The style of my picture is like food ready to eat. I took pictures before every meal.
3-    how do you intend to revisit subject over the final weeks of class to build on critique?
After we talked about my pictures in class. I changed white balance of my photo and I took pictures closer. I also tried different color of foods since I keep taking pictures of red food so I tried some green ones.
4-    why will the viewer (anyone aside from you) care to spend time with your photographs?
Other viewers are also human, this is the most important thing of their life. I always like to look at photos or videos when I am eating, this could help me enjoy my meal and I want everyone feel that when they look at my photo.
5- what are the challenges you anticipate running into?
The challenges I have is that the place I took the picture is very dark which make lots of my picture very dark so I use Photoshop to change the white balance and exposure of the pictures. I also have challenges with taking photos very close, it’s hard to focus on the subject that very close.

Dennis Hopper Born May 17th 1936, he started taking art classes when he was 13. He started out as an actor but he developed a bad reputation for being a difficult actor, he turned to photography in the 1960’s.  He used a Nikon 33 mm camera that his wife gave him for his birthday. He took a lot of monochrome photographs and when he photographed in color he focused in on the way the colors worked together. He has captured many politically driven photographs but he has also captured many portraits of friends and the people around him in life. He liked to colors as an abstract design and would often photograph graffiti from the gangs in Los Angeles. 1/ what do you intend to photograph? I want to capture the real identity of different people. I want to photograph people when they are doing something in their bedrooms. I will start by asking questions: what you usually do in your bedroom. I want to find out the unknown sides of them. So I will mainly focus on my close friends who I have known for a while and find out either dark, crazy, weird sides by asking questions. will use a wide-angle lens trying to show their personality through the room decorations. My subjects might not look at the camera. And I hope they are comfortable with what they are doing like there is without a camera and outside observer. 2- why do you want to photograph the subject?
