Yi Jiang Final Project

      I photographed ordinary people and social daily lives on the street. It is kind of candid photography, I tired to catch some special moments of people, and people be photographed may have no ideas that I have taken photos of them. Some photos are taken through the window to the inside of a store, or a restaurant; some photos are about walking people on the street. I want to make all colors into black and white, so that the contrast of photos can be developed and people can be clearer on the street. Strangers can show their emotions naturally on the street, and that moments will be collected by me. At the same time, I will also use some lighting impact these images, like the light from sun or light from street lamps. There are also some elements on the street like road sign, advertising board on the wall and etc. The combination of all different elements on the street establish the whole composition. 

     Learning the details of other people's lives on the street is interesting and fascinating. Therefore, I hope that my photos can be attractive as well as profound. I am a little afraid of photographing strangers, and I need to ask for their agreements. This is the most difficult part for me in this project. Also, I don’t know how to catch that important moments from people. The moments past really quick, I need to work more on how to catch the right moment, and show the emotion correctly.
