Final project proposal

1- what do you intend to photograph?
I’m intend to photograph travel. Both the beautiful scenery I saw and the process of travel.
2- why do you want to photograph the subject?
Because I love traveling and during every trip the things we see, the process of going from one place to another makes up the beautiful memory that will last long. So I want to briefly show the viewers what’s a trip looks like through my experience.
3- how do you intend to revisit subject over the final weeks of class to build on critique?
I took a lot of pictures so I can choose based on other people’s suggestions. I reconsidered my subject when I came back and choose the pictures which best present my subject. Also, I used photoshop the embellish the photos.
4- why will the viewer (anyone aside from you) care to spend time with your photographs?
I’m showing the experience of travel in different angles. Some of the pictures are the scenery in a traveler’s eyes which is in my eyes in this projects. Others are the appearance or behaviors of the travelers. So from these different angles, I can show the process of traveling. The viewer can see the story in mine project and remind them of their own travel experience.
5- what are the challenges you anticipate running into?
Since I’m only travel during the fall break, I have to photo all the pictures in 7 days. Also, it’s hard for me to convey my subject which is “travel”. When there are only pictures of the places or scenery, it seems to be a description of a place instead of the record of a travel experience.

Devon Barthold 10 Style Photos

Dennis Hopper Born May 17th 1936, he started taking art classes when he was 13. He started out as an actor but he developed a bad reputation for being a difficult actor, he turned to photography in the 1960’s.  He used a Nikon 33 mm camera that his wife gave him for his birthday. He took a lot of monochrome photographs and when he photographed in color he focused in on the way the colors worked together. He has captured many politically driven photographs but he has also captured many portraits of friends and the people around him in life. He liked to colors as an abstract design and would often photograph graffiti from the gangs in Los Angeles. 1/ what do you intend to photograph? I want to capture the real identity of different people. I want to photograph people when they are doing something in their bedrooms. I will start by asking questions: what you usually do in your bedroom. I want to find out the unknown sides of them. So I will mainly focus on my close friends who I have known for a while and find out either dark, crazy, weird sides by asking questions. will use a wide-angle lens trying to show their personality through the room decorations. My subjects might not look at the camera. And I hope they are comfortable with what they are doing like there is without a camera and outside observer. 2- why do you want to photograph the subject?
