Tyler final project proposal


For my final project, I am planning to photograph the crossroads. Actually, it is not only the simple crossroads. For crossroads, there are four directions at one crossroad and people walking on this road would go into the different shops or directions. There are a lot of interesting and farewells happened on roads every day. I also can capture the face on people who waiting for red light or someone who go through the red light. Furthermore, the different crossroads will have different views. Some crossroads are at the downtown, but there are also some crossroads at some country roads.
After receiving the critique and comments, I should notice something new that I didn’t notice before. Maybe I would get a more comprehensive understanding of the crossroads. It is good for me. Also, i would be so excited when I can photograph and look this world in a new aspect.
For most people to say, when we walk on the roads or drive on the road, we always have some goals to do, like go to classroom, meet friends or something like that. We always ignore the beauty on the road or something interesting on the road. I would try my best to show the interesting things on the road and I am trying to let you calm down and enjoy in the street views.
For my challenges, first, I am so afraid of that people consider me as wired person photograph the beautiful ladies with camera. If I am trying to show something by people, maybe I would ask for help by my friends. So, find a suitable model is also a challenge for me. Second, I need care about the traffic. Like I can’t photograph at the middle of the roads. I should photograph in a safety way. The last one, before photographing, portraits are also very important to me. I should decide which kind of crossroads I want to photograph.

Devon Barthold 10 Style Photos

Dennis Hopper Born May 17th 1936, he started taking art classes when he was 13. He started out as an actor but he developed a bad reputation for being a difficult actor, he turned to photography in the 1960’s.  He used a Nikon 33 mm camera that his wife gave him for his birthday. He took a lot of monochrome photographs and when he photographed in color he focused in on the way the colors worked together. He has captured many politically driven photographs but he has also captured many portraits of friends and the people around him in life. He liked to colors as an abstract design and would often photograph graffiti from the gangs in Los Angeles. 1/ what do you intend to photograph? I want to capture the real identity of different people. I want to photograph people when they are doing something in their bedrooms. I will start by asking questions: what you usually do in your bedroom. I want to find out the unknown sides of them. So I will mainly focus on my close friends who I have known for a while and find out either dark, crazy, weird sides by asking questions. will use a wide-angle lens trying to show their personality through the room decorations. My subjects might not look at the camera. And I hope they are comfortable with what they are doing like there is without a camera and outside observer. 2- why do you want to photograph the subject?
