Final Proposal

For this final project I intend on photographing different kind of food. I want to photograph this subject because food is something that we contact everyday and the one question I ask myself everyday is what do I want to eat today. In Chinese there is a sentence which means bread is the stall of life. Food is humans basic need, eat batter could help us live batter. This can also help me control the food I eat and could help me to eat less during the thanksgiving. Throughout the final weeks I plan to look through any photos already taken and see how I can improve, or change. I would take more than I need so that I could have a choice of pictures. I might also want to use photoshop to change to color the light and things like white balance and crop the picture so that there is no extra space in my photo. Other viewers are also human, this is the most important thing of there life. I always like to look at photos or videos when I am eating, this could help me enjoy my meal and I want everyone feel that when they look at my photo. One of the biggest problems I see myself running into is actually interpreting my thoughts through the camera. I want to show my picture in an interesting way and I am going to figure out how to do that. I am going to take enough photos to have the 10 we need for each critique day. I also need to learn how to use photoshop more and getting familiar with changing different setting to make my picture more colorful.

Devon Barthold 10 Style Photos

Dennis Hopper Born May 17th 1936, he started taking art classes when he was 13. He started out as an actor but he developed a bad reputation for being a difficult actor, he turned to photography in the 1960’s.  He used a Nikon 33 mm camera that his wife gave him for his birthday. He took a lot of monochrome photographs and when he photographed in color he focused in on the way the colors worked together. He has captured many politically driven photographs but he has also captured many portraits of friends and the people around him in life. He liked to colors as an abstract design and would often photograph graffiti from the gangs in Los Angeles. 1/ what do you intend to photograph? I want to capture the real identity of different people. I want to photograph people when they are doing something in their bedrooms. I will start by asking questions: what you usually do in your bedroom. I want to find out the unknown sides of them. So I will mainly focus on my close friends who I have known for a while and find out either dark, crazy, weird sides by asking questions. will use a wide-angle lens trying to show their personality through the room decorations. My subjects might not look at the camera. And I hope they are comfortable with what they are doing like there is without a camera and outside observer. 2- why do you want to photograph the subject?
